We are qualified health professionals, that deal with many problems in the lower limbs. If it’s to do with your feet, knees or legs chances are a podiatrist can help. You wouldn’t go to the dentist with back pain, so why go to anyone else for your foot pain?
In some cases, yes. Ask your GP if you are eligible for an EPC (Enhanced Primary Care) plan and mention this to us when you call to book your appointment.
DOES MY PRIVATE HEALTH FUND COVER MY PODIATRY VISIT?
Private health funds do cover podiatry. However it is recommended to check with your fund before you attend if you were unsure as everyone’s cover is different.
I HAVE DIABETES. DO I NEED TO SEE A PODIATRIST?
Yes! If you have diabetes you should see a podiatrist. With diabetes there can be changes with your nerves and your blood flow in your feet; this can lead to major problems. At Matthew Evans Podiatry we check this for you and make sure everything is functioning as it should.
WHAT IS AN ORTHOTIC?
